Our gut reaction to hearing the name of our Parsha, תזריע מצורע is of a rather unpleasant subject,
human impurity. This is completely different to what we read in Shmini, dealing with pure and
impure animals, because animal purity defines if we can eat it`s meat or not, not how the animal
was made impure. No animal becomes impure with leprosy or by touch. An animal is either
intrinsically impure or becomes such by death.
